Being given responsibility for my own audit clients has helped me build confidence, take ownership of my work, and develop professionally. Regular interaction with clients has strengthened my communication skills, while involvement in all stages of the audit process, from planning and testing to completion, has enhanced both my practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
One piece of advice I would give to future graduates considering PKF’s Graduate Programme is to come in with a willingness to learn and never be afraid to ask questions. Audit may seem intimidating at first, but with the guidance and encouragement available, you quickly gain confidence and develop your skills. Audit is not as scary as it seems!
